Hmmmm….not even sure why I’m even here again….What to blab about?….Maybe I should tell a story or something?…..interesting idea…oh, here something to ramble about, it’s good too, since I never talk about it. My sister, not Brett, but I don’t mention her a whole lot do I? I mean Tracey though. It’s funny, I can forget about her for so long, but once she’s brought up in conversation or pops into my head, I take forever to get her out of my head-and she was brought up somewhat recently, so she’s stuck in there again.

See, if you don’t know, she died before I was born-technically I’m not the oldest in the family, although I’d have to say I was raised that way. Not only did she die before I was born, but 9 months and 2 days before I was born. This is where I get a little odd I guess…thinking about that fact. I’m not sure exactly the circumstances surrounding my conception or anything here, but if you think about it, it’s possible I was a result of her death so to say. One of these days I’ll have to ask my mom about that, because if that’s the case, it makes you wonder a bit. I mean, feel the pressure…I’ve sort of been living in her shadow a bit all my life I guess, I always knew that I inherited the “eldest child” role rather than earned it.

In fact, I’m not sure, but I think my imaginary friend when I was three was named Tracey…I was slightly morbid as a child maybe. I’d say I was just fascinated more the fact that she had existed. I can’t confirm that though, but it seems I may have done that. I can actually remember, vividly at times, how I was three years, standing behind a chair in our apartment in Kingston, talking out loud to no one. I’m a weird one. Oh yeah, I rarely ever travel on the street that they had lived on in 1979, where she died, but I always look at it when I drive through Kingston.

Sometimes I wonder if the reason I’ve had so many close calls that may have and probably should ended up maiming/killing me not happen might be from her. It’s a nice thought that my big sis is looking out for me. That’s what you miss out on when you’re the oldest.

Well, I figured I’d better put an actual entry in so you guys can get your moneys worth. Been busy as hell lately, with my spare time spent doing these silly tests and quizzes I keep posting. School has been the main cause of this, which itself has been going really well, or terrible, depending upon whatever course you look at. The terrible courses have been doing so partly as a fault of my own, and partly because of things outside of my control-i.e. professors F’ing things up. All I need to do is make it through this year as well as I can, and then take a break. Basically, if I want that Master’s degree, I need to take some time off, even possibly get it through being a part-time student. I always liked the summer classes more, because you only had one class everyday of the week-it’s harder in that situation NOT to be focused on what you need to do to ace the class. That seems like the way for me, plus being part-time allows me the possibility of hitting the road for work. Still not sure where yet, but if I do go through with it, then Moncton will most likely be the place I end up-partly for the job opportunities as I discussed before, but also since I’m beginning to know some people there, plus Nick and Sophie of course. That way I can get a clean break, without really freaking myself out….yet anyways…I have done it before I guess.

So, that’s that really-just trying to do everything I set out to/said I’d do, plus keep an open mind about the future. I’ve been exercising more, eating a bit better…which have been awesome. Although I’m definitely still feeling stressed out, but once I get through this particular time in school, I should be feeling better. As for that whole business with me and my feeling sorry for myself with my failed relationships, I have dealt with that a bit more-basically I’m open now to whatever…I’ll continue to take it easy, but I’ll also try a bit harder on my end to get something going if I feel that it’s the right thing to do. I will not compromise my will or integrity however-those of you who know what I mean, power to you, if you don’t…I’m not explaining it, it’s just something that becomes apparent about me after you get to know me.

OK, I would have to say this is a pretty fair assessment of me. Wow, I’m posting this from my Flickr site, it’s all bright and cheery, not like Waiting….all dark and depressing….I wanted to post a photo this time, so here we are. No real reason why I chose this particular one, but what the hell. I think the face Dennis is pulling there is quite funny…and I look a little messed up there myself. That would be the insomnia look I’m rocking there-not awake, not asleep, just tired……brutal. Lately my eye has been doing this twitching thing it used to do in high school when I was stressed…I need a vacation, or a change…or both.

Today was a particularly stressful day at school as well, so that was no help….plus it’s Wednesday, so of course I walked to school and back twice…I think it’s 6 miles when it’s all said and done? Something like that. Tiring. If you’re ever talking to me and I sound completely out of it, check to see if it’s Wednesday. I have my worst class, as well as a 6 mile hike….most Wednesdays I make no sense whatsoever, kind of like the ramble I have going on right now. Weeeeeee. I’m going to bed. Night kids.
