Oh well, quality, not quantity right?

No, she’s not the one I wrote about last time, that really never happened – not sure why but I guess I wasn’t entirely correct thinking the feeling was mutual from the other side – or if it was, I couldn’t tell based on the events that unfolded from this post.

But the whole thing about doors closing and windows opening are true I suppose, as that was winding down, the new hangout partner in crime was becoming a bit more than that, and now here we are with it official on the facebook, so you know it’s real.

(I say that knowing full well one time my friend Amy and I for shits and giggles put we were married on faceobok once for like 3 months, it got old when people starting showing up friending us saying “oh wow I didn’t know….”) PS, yes  I know Firefox “friending” isn’t a verb, let alone a word – get with the times though.

I had to use the electric razor to get it to straight blade length – and now the cat is locked in battle with it on the bathroom floor. It’s not on if you’re wondering, he just thinks it will come back on so he’s swatting it.

Also yes my shirt was off in the first one – I hate that as much as anyone but I wasn’t putting on a shirt just to get whiskers all over it.

Also Also – yes I know the lighting in my place sucks – makes huge bags appear under my eyes most of the time. This would be the same apartment we currently record our video work in too. Not easy and we still need proper lighting more than anything.

I’m taking the week of my 30th birthday off. I need to get away from all this work.

Plus I need to get to Halifax and see someone I initially went to go see a year ago now. I really have to know. I wonder if she reads this?

Seriously though this cannot happen soon enough, I have barely slept in over a week now – I even had to take a sick day last week due to my having been up for 30 some hours and being exhausted, but unable to sleep.

Trying to keep the bedroom as nothing but the bedroom – no working from bed or thinking of work – hence the office I built, and despite not one but now two muscle injuries in my chest, I still keep up the exercise. Also I eat pretty well. So what’s the deal? Yes, part of it is the fault of work, but really what do I need to do?

I have a bad feeling she won’t be getting that one however.

30 feels like something should take place though. What do 30 year olds do? Talk about sore backs? Got that covered. Gray hair too. Grew the beard out over Xmas to see how bad, my chin is very noticeable.

As long as I keep it, what the hell do I care though. (My hair that is)

The myth behind being uncircumcised and that being “dirty” somehow.

This is something that I see constantly on sites like Texts From Last Night and it pisses me off. Ladies, you’re wrong. It wasn’t because he was uncut that he was a dirtbag – he’s just a dirtbag.

If little Timmy was never taught he needed to clean himself off downstairs – cut or not – it’ll always be dirty. Plus newsflash, cut still leaves some foreskin so there will always be a spot to clean under. Just a question of more vs less.

I know these dirtbags are out there in full force – I even had an ex girlfriend I lived with, comment on how amazing it was I DID NOT have skidmarks in my underwear. REALLY? This is something that happens enough to cause me to be complimented on it? FUCK. I feel bad for you girls who put up with that – hope it’s worth it being with a dude who constantly has shit all over himself.

Gross yes, but there you go – something interesting and different for you guys. Now, back to working on the other site it’s so much work wah wah wah…

It’s all up on the website if you guys are interested. Feel bad neglecting this blog, but thankfully I was able to carry my style over to the other one, so I don’t feel like I’ve lost my voice that keeps me sane.

I am my worst enemy though – my business partner in crime always tells me to take a day off, and my usual response is “…just after I do this one thing….”

Which inevitable makes us both keep pushing too hard. Good to get the bugs out now.

Got to get up in front of some strangers last night as we presented our screening of Raiders of The Lost Ark – very fun. I’m quiet, but having people’s attention is slightly addictive. I’m an odd cat. Sadly we didn’t do as well as we had hoped, but weather  (first storm of the season) and the never-ending battle against the staff office Christmas party hampered us.

Not kidding – even the theatre had their party while we were in the other end of the complex having our screening.

Another one will be attempted – I’ll be emceeing it myself as Drew will be down under at the time. Working on a gimmick where he’ll call me on the cell and I’ll make people say “Hi”.

All this aside though, it would be nice to have a life sometime. Funny, a friend wanted to set me up on a date, and it never even happened due to the website kicking off. I mean it was only a setup date and all, but that goes to show how terrible I’d be in a relationship right now. Sad but the reality is right now the opportunity cost is too high not to be single right now. I would feel terrible putting someone third to the day job and the after hours gig all the time.

That said, be nice to have someone here to help share the chore load with. Dishes, office, web site writing, movie screening hosting, office job again, laundry….I feel like a Renaissance man. Albeit one who never gets any.

Obviously, those of you already familiar with this blog, well really what would I be hiding, so go enjoy yourselves in the knowledge that you can freely bounce from one to the other.

No real meat behind this decision, other than I’d like to keep some space between the two projects. Nothing to do with protecting secret identities, I will admit I’m Batman.
