Waiting For Something To Happen

Interesting if you enjoy seeing someone’s brains splattered across the screen-not literally you sicko…Basically this bad-boy has become a source of cheap therapy.

…discuss the merits of NASCAR.

So I think I’ve found the bike I want, now I just need to get my gear, make the payment arrangements (also save a bit of money first) and get my bike license. This means that I’ll have this started realistically in the Spring, as it’s not only late in the year and the snow will be here soon, but I need to prepare for the license test – meaning I need to figure my shit out. Pic below, and a link here.

It was a hard decision to make, I mean this bike here was my first choice, it’s slightly cheaper, and it’s kinda badass looking, but not only is it small enough that I may get tired of it slightly faster then the financing terms are completed, it’s so damn popular that if I want one for next year I have to give the local guy $500 to hold it for me. Meanwhile the Buell is still in stock here in Moncton if I were so inclined to go tomorrow.

I’m sure most people couldn’t give two shits about this, and I try to make my posts slightly more…..personal? dramatic? educated? non-pedestrian? (joke being I won’t be a pedestrian on the bike ha ha ha) Whatever word I want, I mean not discussing something as trivial as a motorcycle. Next I’ll want to discuss the merits of NASCAR (Note: There are none)

The truth of the matter is though I can totally see this as others have before. The romanticism of hoping on a bike and getting away. I mean, I already am the loner type, so tooling around on my motorcycle isn’t a stretch at all. The freedom associated with it, the culture….that’s always attracted me. Probably why I skateboarded as a teen. Individualism as it represents/manifests itself through sports or hobbies has always been something I’ve been drawn to.

Don’t get me wrong, I am a team player…..I’m just more comfortable playing on a team of one in most cases.

Plus I mean, come on, it’s pretty badass.
